When I planned my trip to Paris in April, I expected to find the city of love in full bloom with sunny skies. However, when I arrived, I was greeted with a different reality: rain and fog. As I traveled from Montpellier, the south of France, I was not prepared for the drastic difference in weather between the two regions. I realized that France is a country that requires a bit more planning and preparation than I had anticipated. Despite the unexpected weather, I found solace in my photography.

I was able to capture the enigmatic and moody atmosphere of Paris, a side of the city that is often overlooked by visitors and travel blogs. 

This is the city of light that travel blogs won’t show you:

 Paris has a charm that has attracted artists from all over the world for centuries, but experiencing the city in the rain adds an extra layer of mystery and intrigue.

Despite the dampness and chill in the air, Paris still captivates with its stunning architecture, rich history, and vibrant culture.

If you ever find yourself in Paris on a rainy day, embrace the atmosphere and take a walk through the city streets with your camera in hand – you never know what hidden beauty you might discover.
